Cúig Dhallán Dé (Five Butterflies) was inspired by Tommy Potts' famous slip-jig The Butterfly and is dedicated to all those cocooning during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic.
"dealan-dé, butterfly, Ir. dalán-dé, dealán-dé. The G. also means the phenomenon observed by shirling a stick lighted at the end. Apparently the meaning is "God's fire". For dé, see dia."
